"we almost beat the colts"... you do realize that the dolts were playing with a 40+ year old backup quarterback, don't you? The bucs were playing with a rookie quarterback who has been a turn over machine up until they play us. 'Almost' only counts with WMD's and horseshoe tossing. I don't see any more wins at this time of year than we have in the last two, so the 'improvement' you are referring to must just be individual stats, which are utterly meaningless to the team record. I remember when MoJo had the league most yards record.... but the team was awful and our record reflected it!

 

I do agree with you, however, that this debacle of a season (so far) isn't totally on the coaches. The GM is responsible for hiring sub-par players such as Jason Myers. By the way... all of the games are 'winnable', we just fail to do so far more often than not. The record indicates there is no tangible evidence of this team being any better now than it was two years ago. That is a failure of the GM and coaches.

 

However... the season isn't yet halfway over and there is still the possibility (granted, it's remote) that the team could turn things around and prove they are better than they were two years ago. Individual stats prove nothing about a team, and football is a team sport.
