I don't think the shoulder bothered him much, if at all...and even if it did, we'd never know it for certain. Right now, for this offense to be successful we need to keep BB in the ~30 attempts per game range (+/- 5) and our defense needs to actually get off the field on 3rd down once in awhile. I get the sense that what we saw out of him yesterday was a kid pressing his backside off to make plays to the detriment of the team at times because, outside of his WRs, he isn't getting much help from his defense, special teams or his coaching staff.

 

I have a lot of respect for Blake and I believe he can be the guy for us...everything else is just so bad right now that I just don't think it's right to put an inordinate amount of blame on him, which some folks are doing (not you...just saying). Anchorman said it best elsewhere: looking at this offense, if this OL ever figures out how to block properly, this offense has the potential to be crazy good. At least that's what my uneducated, kindergarten eyes tell me.
