You lost all credibility when you said Bortles is the best QB the Jags have ever had. Here's the facts:

1. he hasn't played long enough to establish very much about himself. He is still very inexperienced. No knowledgeable commentator refers to him as the franchise quarterback; they say he 'may be' the franchise quarterback.

2. his stats have been deeply 'padded' by 'garbage time' scores and completions. A lot of Bortles 'success' on the field has occurred when it was no longer relevant to the outcome of the game. Remove the 'garbage time' throws and he looks pedestrian.

 

Seriously, you need to get over your boy crush of Bortles.
