What are we gaining by not firing Gus? In your example, you asked whats the difference betweent 4-12 and 6-10? How big of a difference in draft choice would that be? Pick 4 to Pick 6?
How are ticket sales affected by firing Gus at the end of the season? The best evaluation of Marrone is what you saw from him last year where he had full reign of his team from start to finish. If you like what you saw last season then good for you. If a handful of games in a throw away season is more valuable to you then good for you too.


Again, I want the highest pick possible. If I miss out on a potential much needed game changer such as Ramsey or Hargreaves or the potential to trade down and gain a bevy of picks because of an extra meaningless win I will have a real issue with that.
