keeping him on the roster takes up a roster spot on the 53 just the same as keeping Lee on the 53.  I can understand IR for the whole season if that's your stance, but they want him back to see what he can do in a couple of weeks.

 

Frankly, I'm just about done with Lee.  If he can't be healthy enough to play  more than 1 or 2 games in a row, he's better off not being on the active roster.
