Agree,, he is looking more solid this season.

I don't think it's a coincidence that last season was pretty much his worst. Both Marvin Jones and Tyler Eifert were out the whole year. Plus, Jeremy Hill really didn't get too involved until midway through the season.


Dalton has not been good in the Playoffs and Primetime. But, seriously I think it is more a coaching/preparation issue than QB. The Bengals had those same playoff/primetime struggles before Dalton even got there. Carson Palmer QB, Lewis Coach. They choked 2 home playoff games away,, and struggled on primetime.


Last year's playoff game at Indy, I don't lay too much on Dalton. Almost every key player on offense and defense was out with injury (even worse than what the Jags looked like early this season).

Andre Smith (IIRC)


Defensive Injuries:

Vontaze Burfict

Ray Mauluga (knocked out early in game)

Geno Atkins (still not playing fully recovered)


Losing both starting LBs and not having Geno Atkins at full strength was a big blow.

Even still, they kept the game close until 4th qtr. Then it was just too much.
