The Bucs are relying on a guy who couldn't outrun a snail (Leonard) and a guy who had a huge game, but has also been cut by two teams this season (Rainey). They signed a back off of Green Bay's practice squad last week, but who knows if/how he fits into the rotation. If he signs with the Bucs, he's got a decent shot at some playing time in the backfield, as well as special teams work.

 

If I'm Pryor's agent, assuming the Jags aren't offering a chunk more than the Bucs, I'm pointing him to Tampa.

 

I was just about to say this.

 

Practical upshot:  the Jags have more depth at RB, and Pryor might actually stick in Tampa.  He's choosing the weaker roster in hopes of getting playing time and sticking around more than just the guaranteed 3 games.

 

Or it could be aliens, player's auras, the excellent restaurants in Tampa, his girlfriend made him do it, or he hates the Jags.  I dunno.
