Tell me one  assistant coach who is underperforming based on the roster at his position group?  I'll laugh in your face if you say RB.  Everyone of them is hit in the backfield on 45% of their attempts.  That makes the O-line coach a possibility, but....  Rackley/Brewster/Meester/Bradfield/ regressing Nwaneri??  No, kinda hard to put that on him especially with the employment of a new scheme.

You judge the good ones by the production. i,e, You can tell the worth of WR coach Jerry Sullivan because he's developing several WR. Its not just Blackmon, who was expected to be good anyway. He developed 4th rounder in Shorts and also has gotten street guys like Mike Brown, Stephen Burton to also produce when given PT. 

 

JUst like the example I listed in Tampa - you can tell the OL/ or RB coach or both are doing a very good job as they are now down to their 3rd string RB and he's producing huge games. Just like the 2nd string guy was....and Mike James wasn't even a starter in college before you try to fling the "talent" lie out there, trying to give all the credit to the player....
