Quote:They can stick that plan where the sun don't shine.
By year 3 there should be signs of the plan working. AT 1-5 and the same issues keep popping up shows the plan has derailed against very mediocre competition. Usually if a plan is not showing signs of working by year 3 it's time to hit the reset button. Just bury your head in the sand and hold out hope a miracle will happen and bradley will take us to the promised land.
Gus has got to go and the whole article is rubbish.
Yes, yes, I know jaguarmvp. Maybe you will say something you haven't already said? Anyways, again, you could actually read the article and respond to it. As I mentioned earlier (starting to repeat myself now, you are rubbing off jaguarmvp), you could actually respond to the article which just so happens to be what the thread is about. Or you can continue talking about and out of your bung hole.
As for your bung hole point in bold, my head is not buried and precisely why I was happy to read something of substance. It has been a while on these boards. While I agree with the logic and thought behind what the writer of the article said as well as Caldwell's, I also believe that being 1-5 was not a part of the plan or what they were hoping for. There are a lot of factors. Mistakes by Caldwell either by letting vets go he shouldn't (D. Smith, Pot Roast), signing free agents who have under performed (Toby Gerhart, Beadles) or making mistakes in the draft (Ace Sanders, potentially Cyprien). Or injuries which all teams face. For a team being transformed, injuries have a bigger impact, but Caldwell made that choice bigger picture or not. Gus, who continues to make poor challenges, has struggled in the 2nd half (whether that is adjustments, game planning or something else) and now, in his 3rd year has a defense severely under performing expectations. You could put some of that on talent, some on game planning, some on not adjusting to what you have, etc... It isn't that I'm for Gus at this point. What I am for is understanding their reasoning behind their decisions. We have pieces of information and are missing other pieces of information and try to paint a clear picture with our insanely creative descriptions of ice cream and sprinkles while never fully understanding how it's made, what the ingredients are and what goes on behind the scenes. Hey, we get to read the label right? Now I'm sure one of you Crew members will come up with something creative like I know what curse word ice cream tastes like and honestly, this is a terrible comparison, but you Crew members don't give me much to work with. I am however in support of Dave and his plan.
