Jags WR corps vs. Texans

#10

Quote:It's a matter of whether or not we run actual offensive plays or just stick with the broken record game plan.  Hear me out...

Yeah, Henne stinks we know that.

But if all we are gonna do is run 2 pass plays over and over again (RB screen, WR bubble screen) with only slight variations (strong side, weak side) than our WRs are going to look horrible.

If we actually allow the offense to run multiple plays for short, intermediate, and long routes, then we might just (gasp) get the defense guessing and off-balance.

I've noticed that in the first couple drives we appear unpredictable to the opposing D's.  Then they begin to realize we are running the same dang plays over and over again, and they begin to tee off on us.

Why not just open up the play book?  If we do that, I'm sure CSIII will get more involved, same with Sanders and the rest of the crew.

Plus, we have TE's, we can try to use them as well.  But if we just run the same short yardage garbage over and over again, it's not gonna be the WRs that are to blame.  It'll be the OC.

Open up the playbook?  Here's a secret: There's only two plays in there.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
