Poor play on the line is exactly the reason.  Freddy T had a playoff roster as did MJD coming out.  No line means worse stats, but including that actually makes him look that much better than some think.  How many Yeldon like runs would be had behind this line by MJD who used power and less cut backs   Freddy T had great agility but thats a good comparison to be included in IMO.  It's year 1 on an improving line that was the WORST EVER last year so yeah, he's definitely good AT THE LEAST.  

 

I remember Freddy T waiting, like TJ did, behind the line until something opened up somewhere.  It resulted in TFL sometimes but bad rbs don't have that type of talent to make positive yrds out of negative plays consistently.  He's a rook but i'll take that any draft when the oline is horrid.
