If you list him as "out" of the game, and a miracle happens and he is able to come back into the game, you will have to answer all kinds of questions about why you listed him as "out" and then proclaim him "eligible to return." When a player is ruled out, he is not eligible to return to the game. Of course even if he improves on the sideline, it would be a good idea to let him sit as a precaution, so I would never question a team's decision to rule him out. |
