It's a passing league people, backs have to hold leads, to take over when it's crappy and everyone knows a run is coming.

They have to break tackles consistently, reverse on a dime when a hole is blocked, and have durability after some big hits. They have to catch dump offs like faulk and make two men miss. I have never seen Yeldon do that. I haven't seen him be a passing threat. 

So far he has looked pretty average to good,  against some really bad teams.

 

So a lot of unknown questions about Yeldon, but be impressed because he got 100 yards against the bills. Cake and Ice cream too?

When he gets his next 1.4 YPC game you all come back and talk about how special he is.

If we are satisfied with a back that plays well against bad teams, well he might be able to do that, but is he a pro bowl caliber back who is a piece that takes us to the next level by being a weapon everyone has to respect?

That has not been shown to me to date.
