He can move the team if he wants to. The only question would be the amount of damages he would have to pay. We cannot force him to keep the team in Jacksonville.
That said, I don't see any indication that he wants to move the team. And what would be the motivation? Money? He has plenty of money, and if Forbes can be trusted, his net worth has increased by about a billion dollars in the last two years. His auto parts business must be hugely profitable- much more profitable than an NFL team would ever be. |
