This is my husband's pet peeve to the nth degree. Also, most of the guys at his place of work are 2-5 years away from retirement and don't do half the work they're supposed to. They leave it all for him to do because they know he'll do it, and not because he's trying to get in good with anyone, but because he has an actual work ethic and the stuff HAS to get done. You can't let too much go at a wastewater plant before things get ugly. 

 

The newly promoted manager won't do anything about it because he was one of the guys who used to a half [BLEEP] job and got promoted because he is buddy-buddy with the boss. These jackholes won't get fired nor reprimanded because they have too much leverage on the manager.
