If it has zero to do with it, why would he do it?

I don't see any other "businessman" stepping up to do it and we have plenty with enough money in this neck of the woods.

The shipyards has sat idle for years, having several false starts.

 

Do you think maybe he's trying to put down "roots" and show people he's here to stay?

Contributing to revitalize downtown is certainly a way to do that.

Or did that cross your mind?
