Impressions From The Jets Game

I'm convinced that Bortles is the real deal. Also, we have probably the best receiving depth in the NFL. Our defense against the run is top 5 in the NFL. Telvin Smith is pro bowl quality.
Now, the bad....... Our special teams is terrible. Our pass coverage is mediocre, at best. Our offensive line can't pass protect and is less than average in the running game. We could have gotten the same quality punter as an undrafted free agent.......wasted a third round pick. Thomas is another in a long line of aging vets who "retire" in Jacksonville after signing a big final contract. Just my opinion. |
