undrafted rookies with the ball in their hands
|
Quote:I don't think undrafted rookies handling kickoff/punt returns is that rare. Every time a mistake is make, people want to point to some rule that makes it so obvious something shouldn't have been done; that some rule has clearly been violated. I don't think it applies here. i've been saying this for weeks, just now decided to post about it. I have an issue with this coaching staff putting the ball in the hands of our worst players. Grant in Tampa, Gerhart in London, Marshall in every game he touches the ball. They offer nothing but risk. I don't know, Jacoby Jones was just released and we didn't sign him (i'm not sure if he cleared waivers or whatever)....
