How is Carr's play relevant to Bortles? That's the same reasoning parents use when their kid won't finish dinner. Just because someone in Africa have less to eat doesn't make you child less stuffed and just because Carr is playing well doesn't mean Bortles' is playing like crap.

 

As for your first sentence; how does playing very good in an inept franchise somehow weaken his case?
