Of course he does. "seems" is the important word.  He seems better because in 2014 the OC was even worse than now.  But there were still really good flashes by BB5 even with the Albino Rhino as the main RB and 2 rookie WRs and CSIII as the main targets.  LOL, considering all that, Mariottas would not have finished his rookie season as the 2014 Jaguars QB.

Let me break it down for my fellow Jaguar fans...  i watched the Saints game today...  Marriottas is not asked to actually carry his team.  Matter of fact, he's bailed out on every scoring drive.  Now, if you just look at Mariottas stat line, you may think he looks legit...  But if you actually watch the tacks play, you see that every successfull drive is because of a great effort by the RB or by the WR after a check down.

 

Though I will say, the game winning TD pass he threw was really nice.  All he had to do was lob it up in the air and let his reciever catch it.

 

But if you actually watched the game winning drive, it was not because of Marriatoas that they won that game.  The RB made some amazing runs and the recievers got alot of great yards after catch.

 

BB5 is light years ahead of the tack QB.  And as time goes on, Marrioatass will be shown as a reach...  But, let's face it.  The tacks have better coaching than the Jaguars do.  So they obviously look better than us right now.
