Grossest Injury Ever?
|
Quote:What about it? It was an intentional low hit out of bounds that ended the guys career. If it was 2012 instead of 1999 then Buchanon would've been suspended multiple games and fined hundreds of thousands of dollars. Big difference between the bang bang play on the field vs targeting a guys knee out of bounds. About the only thing close was James Harrison belting Massoquoi or McCoy a few years back. Headhunting at its finest and worthy of expulsion. My situation is not unrealistic. It would be an "illegal play" by definition. Do you agree that in my situation, a non-intentional "bang bang" play would be worthy of banning the guy from ever playing in the NFL again? Personally, I say no. Suspensions should be looked at on a case-by-case basis. "Eye for an eye" is not successful. |
