Jaguars in "Close Games"
|
The team has improved. We finally have a passing game, with building blocks at QB and WR. We have a potential franchise RB, as well. Does the offense lack consistency? Definitely, and I'd say that's due to the make shift offensive line we are trotting out there. Losing Linder was the worst possible circumstance to happen to this team and to the offense. A lot of youth on the offensive side of the ball, and it'll only get better.
Defensively, just not a lot of talent out there. Not a lot of depth, which also hurts the special teams. The offense isn't experienced enough to win shootouts, yet. Especially when they have to overcome poor play on defense and special teams. My expectations were low for this season anyways. I knew it would be bumpy, and I only expected 6 wins. I knew the defense would struggle, and you won't win many games with a porous defense.
