Ultimately, the team needs to win atleast 6 games this season to show improvement. If they lose out, there's no way you can convince the fan base that Gus should stay.
The team has improved, although there's still issues of inconsistency and undiscipline. That's been the trademark of Gus' tenure. Not a lot of resources have been spent to improve the talent level on the defense, so if Gus wins 6, I'd agree, he should stay. Lets see what Gus could do with a loy more talent on the defensive side of the ball. If he finishes with 2 or 3, no way can he be kept. I'm not a fan of Gus as a coach, and don't think he's shown any improvement as a coach on gameday, but only a winning streak should save his job.
