Jaguars in "Close Games"
|
Quote:There's definitely no question that the team IS better than last year, and that there HAS been improvement. I'm just worried that the huge jump from "Getting blown out every week" to "Losing close games, almost there!" isn't significantly due to what has to be the softest schedule possibly imagined. Not only facing weak teams (again... New England need not apply), but the teams we played that are at least decent, struggled for one reason or another (Carolina's slow start, Indy/Houston/Buffalo QBs issues/questions, significant injuries, just.. bad... teams... i.e. Miami/Tampa).Really??? At this time, there is a distinct possibility that we might do no better this season than we did last year; a 4-12 record is a distinct possibility! Personal stats mean nothing if they aren't backed up with wins. It doesn't matter if we might have the greatest receiving duo since 'thunder and lightning' if it doesn't translate into wins. It doesn't matter how many 'circus act' receptions those two make if BB (as in Bumbling Bortles) keeps turning the ball over. I think 'BB' was right to refer to complaining fans as 'kindergartners'. The proof is in how we all like to watch 'BB the clown' and the 'Bumbling Bortles circus'. Even though we are treated to the same 'show' every Sunday... with the 'clown' looking like a buffoon, we always watch. |
