Also, the amount of pressure and what is asked of BB5 is alot more than any other 1st or 2nd year QB in this league.  The only one that comes close is Carr, but even Carr has a legit running game, better O-Line and a D that plays legit.  

 

BB5 is asked to put the grand piano that is the Jaguars on his back and carry the team.  When you are asked to basically carry a team, you force things a bit more.  You can see that.  Give this guy a legit O-Line next year, a slightly better running game, and a D that doesn't play prevent, and things are gonna look alot different.

Now, I haven't watched Mariota play at all. I refuse to watch the tacks unless we're playing them out of principle but I don't think most people realize how good Oakland's offensive line has been playing. Derek Carr has been sacked 7 times to date iirc. Blake has been sacked nearly FOUR times that number. Not double...QUADRUPLE and that's ridiculous in and of itself.

 

I know TC, and for the most part I like the guy, but he's going to read this as us making excuses and that's cool. We can agree to disagree but ultimately we all want the same result (I think). A competent coaching staff (step 1) and more wins (step 2)!
