   A case probably can be made that the Chargers should have run the ball more,  based on their injury situation at WR and to a lesser of an extent at TE.

 

   Overall though,  the team the Chargers fielded in the 2nd half of last night's game against the Bears was a shell of the team their team brass hoped would be on the field when they put the team together.   The Chargers were missing 3 starters on the Offensive Line,  their top 2 WRs,  their # 2 TE,  their top Defensive Lineman  ( their best Defensive player  ),  a starting ILB,   and a starting CB  ( probably their best CB ) who earlier in the game ran back an interception for a TD.    Even w/o the distraction of ownership looking to move the team to the Los Angeles area and combined with crowd noise the visiting fans bring to San Diego,   Mike McCoy and his staff have a very difficult task because of their injuries.
