But I'll say it again:  BB5 is asked to do more.  He just is.

 

He throws the ball 10 more times per game...  Because he has to...  The O-line for the Jaguars is less special that the tacks.  It's just a fact.  The tacks have a better run game, than ours.  BB5 has been sacked 25 times.  And if you actually watch the Jaguars play, he's forced out of the pocket a ton.

 

MM, on the other hand, is asked to throw quick outs.  He's a one read pony, and isn't hurried or sacked as often because he's not asked to push the ball down the field.  I mean, it's fun to look at numbers, but it's important to watch the games.  It's clear that some folks aren't watching BB5 actually play.  

 

The tacks have a higher YAC than the jags.  Those are also facts.   "Oh look how awesome BB5's WRs are".  LOL are you kidding me?  Uh. two 2nd year players that were not on anybody's radar are having great years BECAUSE of BB5...  LOL, how pathetic of an argument is that???  LOL

 

The tack D is giving up 23 points per game.  The Jags are giving up 30... Again, BB5 is under the gun every game.  He is having to catch up or stay even with teams that are scoring almost at will against a poorly schemed out D and coach that can't figure out how to stop anyone.  Manchuriatata is a game manager.  I mean, I'm watching both players play.  I have Sunday ticket.  MM was getting bailed by by his team constantly.  BB5 is BAILING OUT THE JAGUARS constantly.

Look, it's fun to imagine that Mariachita is gonna be the next...  Who ever.  But he's not that good...  I've been watching him play, and he's a poor man's Russel Wilson.  He's having about as much success as a spread offense QB is gonna have untill he finally is figured out.

 

BB5 on the other hand is carrying a football team...  These are facts.

 

He throws the ball 10 times more a game and only averagres 10 more yards per game. Do you know why? Because Mariota is more efficient and effective. You ignore the facts here 65% completion vs 56% and 8 YPA vs 7. The Titans also have a much worse offensive line, that's proven by the 6.8% sack rate for the Jags and 12% for the Titans. But lets again continue to ignore reality. The Titans have higher YAC because Mariota delivers balls with better timing and precision, he is putting his players in a position to make plays. Unless you think the likes of Anthony Fasano, Craig Stevens, and Antonio Andrews are dynamic playmakers who are carrying him (those were his key receivers in the comeback win). Rodgers, Brees, and Brady are among the league leaders in having their yards from YAC, and its part of the reason they have been so successful. Look at the history of successful NFL QBs and you will see high efficiency via short/intermediate throws and YAC  with no turnovers wins games in this league.
