Red vs.blue is easier to see than red vs. green, which probably is why there weren't too many complaints about that game lacking a white team.

 

   I agree with you that the pants differences were greater in the 2010 Thanksgiving Day game than last night's game. Yet,  for those who have difficulty seeing the difference between blue and red,   it probably was still uncomfortable for them when watching the Patriots- Lions game.  

 

  On a more serious note,  those that are red/ green colorblind could easily have problems with traffic and other road lights that involve green and red.
