If the 48 yard field goal attempt against the Colts had been successful, the avalanche of negative comments that were posted afterwards would not have taken place. Instead, those posters would have said " a win is a win ".

If yesterday's facemask penalty had not happened and we lost the game, there would have been an avalanche of negative comments from the exact same people who today are saying " a win is a win ".


Here's my point;


We should all be thankful for a win. Wins have been few and far between in this town. But, just as we have been told by coaches and players to acknowledge the positives in those games that we lost, the rational position is to recognize and address the negatives when we win. Neither team should be satisfied with their performance yesterday.
