If you have to slow down and zoom in on the picture to notice that one player was .1 seconds off from being set, you are just searching for any ticky tack violation of any of the hundreds of rules in the book just to say that you should have won the game. In real time, I had no idea that Joeckel wasn't set, and in fact, I applaud the refs for letting the players decide the game. Joeckel being only 99% set offered no advantage to the Jags in that situation-- let the play run its course.


Had Joeckel not been halfway set, and it allowed him an advantage in blocking Dumervil just long enough to let Bortles launch a game-winning hail mary TD pass, the Ravens would have an argument.


Bottom-line, a missed false start call is NOT the reason the Ravens lost the game. The Ravens are the reason the Ravens lost the game.
