Jaguars offense getting more positive attention
|
Quote:I hate to rain on people's parade, but the increased media coverage is more about the prime-time game (Thursday Night) rather than genuine interest in the team. Expect the "attention" to fall off after the game, especially if it ends up in a loss. There also were a couple good articles about us before the London game. Of course we got less attention after that one, but Blake Bortles was a Clutch Player of the Week nominee. I can't agree with you on this one because nobody is saying similar things about the Titans, who just drafted their own franchise quarterback. Why do they hype us up but not them? Because we deserve it and they don't, of course. It is worth noting people are only talking about our offense. Obviously there is a genuine interest in our playmakers. Before the Bills game, NFL writers described Buffalo as a team without an identity because it was 3-3 at the time - not high praise like we were getting. |
