He is a zealot. You think he would reign that in when given more influence and power? He has already used religion as a driving force behind change in his home state. It's great if you are a believer of his brand of Christianity, but awful if you're not. His father is on record as wanting to force religion on people and his actions in his gradual rise to prominence tells me the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Aside from that, he is an antagonistic donkey hole who has contempt for anyone not like him. When George W Bush says "I just don't like the guy." That tells me something. That guy spent 8 years with Cheney for crying out loud. I cringe to think of what a Cruz presidency would do for the average American and I think he would have the worst foreign policy record in our nation's history as he is not someone who has shown the ability to build bridges or compromise. He pouts and throws tantrums. I don't see the attraction whatsoever with this guy. I wouldn't urinate in his mouth if his teeth were on fire.
