I don't think he would given his comments previously regarding franchise QB's. But for the sake of argument if he did, I think it would depend upon exactly what he wound up doing, i,e. trading down and getting a ton of value/ etc etc. If he just pulled a Gene Smith and took an Alualu at his pick, "just because" then I think I would be upset.

I don't think 8-8 every season would be acceptable to the majority of fans down there or any NFL city. Maybe its acceptable to you, but I don't think you represent the majority. Or then again, we used to playfully say that this board accepts mediocrity.....so maybe your opinion is closer to reality.
