Well said.  A lot of people aren't sold on Bridgewater, which is fine.  But ultimately Dave Caldwell's opinion counts for a lot more than anyone elses.  If you don't like Bridgewater... Caldwell doesn't have to take him if he doesn't either.  But if he thinks he's the best QB in this draft and is worth taking, then I hope we have a shot at him.  

 

People say "You can find a QB after the first pick."  But by having the first pick, you have more options available to you.  


I'd like to see this team have all options available to them.  I don't want them to be bad.  But I've seen how bad they can be, and when you're as bad as this team has been -- having more options will help you stop being that bad.  <i>Maybe</i> we're closer than we were.  It's hard to say -- the Texans and Titans haven't been that good.  I think there were some good individual performances -- but I don't think that if we had lost, that it would have taken away from them.
