An few athletes that come up on just the top of my head. The two Williams that played DT for the Vikings. They were suspended, along with 4 other NFL players, for testing positive for OVER-THE-COUNTER diuretics. (See source 1 below.) When Jarvin Jenkins was suspended it was for an over-the-counter supplement. I can't remember on the top of my head if the other 8 Redskin players who were suspended with him was for an OTC or not. (See source 2 below.) When Hope Solo was benched in the olympics for a failed drug test, it was OTC diuretic (See source 3 below.). According to the World Anti-Doping Agency, there were 142 positive diuretic occurrences in 2003, 157 in 2004, 246 in 2005, 290 in 2006, 359 in 2007, and 436 in 2008. In which 16, 24, 26, 32, 33, and 44% were received OTC, respectively. (See source 4 below)

Gator fans won't own up to it because it was their guy that got caught. Don't let these silly facts get in the way of their agenda. Bottom line...if there was a doubt about what he took he could have easily told the UF training staff and got an opinion but he didn't. He's yet to even come forward about what he took. There is a right way to do things and there is a wrong way, he chose the latter and has to pay the same consequences any other NCAA athlete would.
