Gator's QB Will Grier Loses NCAA Appeal
|
Quote:One of the more popular OTCs that lead to to suspension are diuretics. Not only are they banned because they reduce an athlete's fluid retention and thus reducing weight, they are also banned because they are the leading agents in masking anabolic steroids. Just using this one example of a banned OTC, I can name you hundreds of athletes alone.Gator fans won't own up to it because it was their guy that got caught. Don't let these silly facts get in the way of their agenda. Bottom line...if there was a doubt about what he took he could have easily told the UF training staff and got an opinion but he didn't. He's yet to even come forward about what he took. There is a right way to do things and there is a wrong way, he chose the latter and has to pay the same consequences any other NCAA athlete would. |
