Not anytime, but often it does. Remember the old Brett Favre? He played with a lot of injuries that normally would rule players out for extended periods, which is one reason the Packers are retiring #4.
Bruce Arians said about two years ago he hates Thursday night games. One reason for that: Players are ruled out with injuries on the short week, but could have played on Sunday. I don't know if that ever happened but it makes sense. |
