 the went 8-8 three years in a row recently just missing playoffs each time. That keeps fans happy.You should know this. Being 8-8 every year is a hell of a lot more exciting then 5-11.in any case, neither team will go undefeated and neither team will make the SB.

 

Are you saying statistically it is highly unlikely for either team to make it or because you believe that other teams will actually take advantage of their few weaknesses?

 

I can see both teams losing in the regular season due to the pressure mounting and wearing on them; Carolina @ the Giants and New England either @ Denver or vs Jets.

 

However, in the playoffs I'm not so sure. Both will have home field throughout. I only see Arizona and Cincinatti really giving either team a good scare, but I'm not sold on either of those teams getting far enough to knock Panthers/Patriots out of the playoffs, much less beat them.
