This is actually the only arguement that can be made.

 


Keeping Gus after this year means that the front office believes in the direction Gus is taking the defense and the offense.

 

It's clear we are not winners under this Regime.  But if we keep Gus, it means that the Owner and the GM think that this current direction will get us to the playoffs.

 

After this loss, it's clear that talent alone will not win us games.
