The above is ironic because if the Jags would just bottom out this season (like I have been calling for) and would have gone 1-15, they would have guaranteed themselves a franchise QB in Bridgewater and most likely would have started a run of consistent winning seasons. 

 

This team has a MUCH higher chance of having successive losing seasons to come, with these late season nothing wins vs bad teams that will serve us little other than just pushing us further away from the top picks in the draft. THis team needs game changers, and unless you hit the draft lottery, these players are far more likely to come at the top couple picks. 

 

So, in a way, people with YOUR mindset and enjoying these short sighted unimpressive late season wins that don't translate to continued success are the ones unintentionally wishing the above quote. 

 

People like me know that a franchise QB turn teams around. We want that. NOW. ....and we were in prime position to get it, until yesterday, anyway.
