Look at Gabbert right now.. He looks like a competent NFL QB at the moment..  He seems to hang in there better than he did though the late sack today killed the 49ers chances....  If he hangs around, I can't wait for him to be on MNF and see what Gruden who brutalized him when doing a Jags games has to say...  I still feel that Gruden's bashing of him basically gave him the wimp rep he could never get rid of on the Jags..  Hiding on the 49ers the last year and a half seems to have done him some good...  He still throws a great ball most of the time which we saw in Jax....

I will give you that. He is relatively new to the league. But, a "pattern" I'm seeing is that he keeps making the same mistakes over and over. As an example, I still think he's telegraphing his throws and he simply has to be better in the red zone. His pick numbers are way too high and it's NOT because he passes allot. Personally, I think it's his game between the ears is what he needs to work on most.
