Copycat,

 

I guess my rant has its origins on the short yardage play-actually one of the few times the Jaguars tried play action.  Alualu had to run a pass route.  It looked like he struggled to get open on that short route, and Bortles didn't even try to throw to him.

 

It seems with few exceptions, none of the plays involving Alualu have actually worked.

 

It's a gimmick.

 

Gimmicks are kinda cute until they start to fail.

 

That gimmick's shelf life has expired for now.
