Jagibelieve,

 

I prefer your suggestion to use Gerhart in short yardage to the use of Alualu in similar situations.

 

At least if you run the play action, Gerhart has a chance to get open and I would feel much more comfortable with him catching the ball/running the ball than Alualu.

 

Regarding the stupid penalties, to me there weren't many killer penalties this past game.  The offsides were annoying, but nothing backbreaking.

 

But that has been an issue overall with this team for years.

 

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
