But, with that loss Sunday, it won't matter what time of year it is.... Tix will be a tougher sell. If they don't show up for possible playoff implications, I don't expect them to when they still have a losing record.

Then there's the socialites that just go to hang in the bud zone to show off their latest leopard print tights. clueless as to what's happening on the field.

 

It's not an excuse.  It's a fact.  Jacksonville has a very transient population with two military bases and a very young overall population.  People go home for the holidays.  You're comparing things that have absolutely no similarity using Detroit as your measuring stick, but hey, whatever.  You spin it however you need to in order to do what you usually do.

 

You say the loss on Sunday is somehow going to ruin it the rest of the season.  That hasn't been the case for the majority of home games the past 3 years despite fans knowing the team was bad.  Explain that for me since you've apparently got your finger on the pulse of the fan base.  Can't wait to hear your excuses for fans showing up.
