Mass Shooting in San Bernardino, California

Quote:From what I have read and seen, there was a third person that was detained and questioned.  Not much further information regarding him/her.

Regarding the grandmother and baby, I assume that they were with family at another location.

As far as handcuffs on deceased, that's pretty standard procedure.  A law enforcement officer can't legally identify somebody as being deceased.  Also, for a law enforcement officer, the suspect's hands are important and must be secured.  This is nothing more than a standard safety measure.

The media entered the residence after law enforcement officials "cleared the scene", so no evidence was tampered with.  They did so with the consent of the property owner.  Any evidence was removed by law enforcement prior to that happening.

I don't agree with much that you've written.  In the only eyewitness video available, the witness, Sally Adbelmageed, says at least 3 times that there were 3 gunmen.  Scott Pelley asks her specifically if she's sure there were 3 and she confirms it.  She described them as tall, white, athletic build, dressed exactly the same.  Black caps, vests, cargo pants with pockets full of extra magazines.  Where does a 90-lb woman fit into this?  This is a huge discrepancy that has not been sufficiently addressed.

Regarding the grandmother and baby, we are in search of facts not assumptions.  We can't prove or disprove anything, widen or narrow our lines of thought, based on assumptions.

Handcuffing the deceased is standard procedure?  Do we know this or are you just saying it?  Most of these shooters go down in a hail of bullets, but I don't recall their riddled bodies being displayed in hi-def on the national news very often, if ever.  So what can we compare this to?  What about the incident in Missouri - was Michael Brown handcuffed while he lay dead on the street for 4 hours in Ferguson?

And no, I have never seen the media tear through a crime scene like we saw this week.  The property owner?  I did not realize a landlord owns all of his tenants' possessions as well as the building.

So yes, my curiosity remains unsatisfied.  Everyone is rushing to judgement and some are suggesting rash and unprecedented action based on this incident.  Some want to curtail our freedoms here at home.  Some want religious profiling.  Some want the "glass parking lot" solution.  Should we not have clarity on what exactly happened, how it happened, who is behind it, if anyone, and maybe some better insight on why it happened and what our true course of action should be?
