Point #1 - compares all of the US.  If you take it a step further and compare it to each location, then add in how restrictive the gun laws are in that area you get a completely different picture.

 

Points #2 and 3 go pretty much hand in hand. With #4 IMO falling into the mental health sphere.

 

#5 - No kidding?  Times have changed and how we in the US turn criminals into victims is beyond comprehension.  People these days are not held accountable for their own actions so personal responsibility is no longer part of the equation.  

 

#6 - I disagree.  The assumption is that criminals submit to background checks.  That kind of flawed thinking baffles me beyond belief.  Anyone that clings to that thought process is delusional beyond words.  If criminals obeyed laws they would not be criminals.

 

Overall the link may present factual information, but it does not tell the whole story.  How I long for a link that does.
