"To be honest with you, we tried everything"

Quote:Well...  You have to understand my point of view.  Maybe you disagree...  But, I don't think it's delusional.

We're 4-7 right now.  In October we had a 3 game stretch against teams that were playing very poorly and were set up for us to take advantage of.  Those 3 games were the clots, bucs, and tinhorns.  All 3 of those teams were, at the moment we were playing them, on the ropes.  The clots just went to thier 40 year old QB, had a suspect offensive line, and were primed to be taken out.  Jamis Winston, when we played them, was a turn over machine and the bucs were struggling.  And the tinhorns, if you remember, in October were very inconsistent, and looked mediocre at best.

In my opinion, one which I've been stating for a while now, those 3 games were our playoffs.  Having lost all 3 really ended our season (in my opinion).  Better coaching, better adjustments, and a better kicker would have won us those 3 games.

On top of that, we should have just beat the tacks...   And again, a better head coach get's us past either the jets or the chargers...

That's 8 or 9 wins right there...

Dolphins, clots, bucs, tinhorns, bills, ravens, jets, tacks, tacks...  All games that were winnable.  All games that, in my opinion, a better coach and better kicker would have helped us get the win.

Is that delusional?  I don't think so

Everything you just said sums up exactly why this has been as disappointing a season as the Jags have had in quite a while.

Had all those teams been at full strength, or close to it, when the Jags played them, then sitting here at 4-8 would be a lot more understandable, but they weren't.

The Jags had so many great opportunities to really make some noise after catching so many breaks this season, yet here they are with just 4 wins, the same number of wins Gus had in his first year here with by far a worse team.

I sure hope he can find another win or 2 to finish out this season, because finishing this season with the same 4-12 record as that same horrible team from 2013 is just unacceptable to me.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
