Would I be OK with Bridgewater? Sure. Will I blow a gasket if we don't get him? Absolutely not.


Here's another shocker. EVEN IF we get the first pick there's no guarantee we take him. The guys that are, you know, paid to do evaluations might not see him as the OBVIOUS first pick that some here do.


All you have to do is go back to last year's draft.

I almost wonder how Bridgewater got put on this pedestal as like some end-all be-all quarterback. That without him, the team can't become a winner. He was the top dog, crowned by the media, going into the year. I have watched all his games and I see a nice player. Would I be surprised if he ends up being a top 10 QB like a Matt Ryan? No. Would I be surprised if he ends up being a Sam Bradford, as average as the day is long? No. I certainly don't see a guy that would give me a stroke if we don't take him.

 

I wonder if "The Mad Dog" would even know who Bridgewater is without the preseason hype of Bridgewater.
