We are middle of the pack in sacks, and when your leader is a blitzing corner and a run stuffer (coverage sacks anyone)

it means you aren't getting consistent pressure. Which we aren't. We're bottom in the league in pressures and hurries and hits....

 

The pass rush isn't working, even if we are middle of the pack in sacks.

 

Last year it was spread out among a lot of Dline and LBers...

We have 4+ from DBs....and no one even close to sniffing double digits.

 

I think we have some good young talent on D that are playing their butts off but are surrounded by old or ineffective players.

I wonder though, sack numbers aside, would Fowler have been able to add in enough pressures...

I'd like to think so.
