Whatever benefit we get this year out of sweeping two division opponents would not outweigh the problems associated with lacking a franchise QB, nor would it outweigh the benefit to Houston if they got their franchise QB to add to their already talented roster.

I don't even remember much about the game, TBH.  I doubt the Colts fans or players remember.

 

I know it didn't "teach us how to win."  It didn't provide any momentum that carried over into 2012.

 

It certainly didn't put us into playoff contention.

 

What benefit did we get from it?

According to people like the Chiefjag and others, wasn't that supposed to help "teach them how to win", or help with attaining a winning culture??.....uh, yeah....they went 2-14 the next year.....while the team that TANKED wound up with the prize QB in Luck and quickly elevated to the playoffs in the first year....

 

But thats right, act like winning ugly games in meaningless late season games in already dead seasons is productive...

I agree with that, but if they win another game or 2 (especially if one of them is vs the Texans next week), the chances of them getting either of the top 2 picks is remote.
