I think that the 'getting more out of gabbert' really had more to do with MJD still being good the first 6 games (that Gabbs played), and constantly telling Gabbs to not turn the ball over and hiding how bad he really was. Gus let Gabbert play, and Gabbert just played bad. I have always been a fan of Gus' positive attitude, and I have no doubt he will get us looking much better in no time.
